There is much wisdom and healing to be found in nature if we’re willing to connect with it

Ascend providers don’t just talk about practices for healing and transformation. We take you there!

Many of our clients love meeting with us in the forest for walk and talk sessions as nature and movement are healing components that can become magnified when used within a therapeutic space. We meet outside rain or shine, only cancelling when the weather is dangerous to be outdoors. We also schedule special events and customized healing sessions in outdoor settings. Being outdoors together is a sacred experience and many times inspires clients to reconnect to their own nature practice.

  • Reflection Riding Aboretum and Nature Center

Nestled at the base of Lookout Mountain, we walk the trails, sit by the creek, perch on the rocks on the hillside or spread a blanket in the meadow.

  • Enterprise South Nature Park

Located at Exit #9 off I-75, enjoy winding your way through the forest under the canopy of trees.

A fundamental premise of nature and ecotherapy is that the wellbeing of humans is intimately bound to the wellbeing of the planet and that nurturing our relationship with nature is key for maintaining our mental wellbeing.
